I'm sure you've seen the guy in the "Staples" ad dancing in the store while pulling his kids on a sofa, well, every bit of that man's joy at this time of year is true.
Think about it, your children go to bed at a decent hour for a change, you have most of the day to yourself, and come to think of it, most of the evening too.
Thank God for school, without it we would all be pulling our hairs out about now.

Back to School
"I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back"( Jon & Vangelis - 1979)
Yes, Anastasia went back to school today and Daddy could not be happier. Hey we all need a break, especially when you're supposed to be on vacation.( I know it's supposed to all revolve around family not yourself)
Grade 1 for our little angel started today and the transition went very smooth. Anastasia is happy with her new teacher, although she tells me, Annie, had a hard time staying awake at about 2 in the afternoon. I told her teacher that she had to get accustomed to a full day at school, (after all this would have been Annie's nap time, last year).
Mrs.Karelia agreed that our princess would get used to her new surroundings, eventually.
I could start to get used to this new arrangement myself,( Elene only has 1 year of freedom left, before it's her turn to start school).
Gosh, they do grow up so fast, don't they?

Change is Good
Well I finally got the look I wanted for this blog. My next thing to try would be to create a nifty new logo, yeah I know this could take a while, maybe I'll just stick to keeping everyone up to date with what's been gong on around here.
That's about it for now, I promise I won't take as long to post next time.

Wonderful Day
Oh what a wonderful morning. Yes I know this is my first post in quite some time and I've been trying to update the look of "Parenthood" but as most people know parenting is a full time job and takes up most of your time.
Take this morning for example, we were all ready to head out the door, when Elene puked all over my jacket, shirt, shoes, herself, Anastasia's stuffed dog and most of the foyer floor.
After the big cleanup and a change of clothes we were finally off to school, that's when you guessed it Elene threw up again in front of the school. Luckily I was quick enough to have her do the mess on the floor and not our clothes.
Elene is sleeping now and I am getting ready to drop her off to Yiaya's and pick up Anastasia from school.
Nobody said parenting would be easy but it is always a complete joy.
I hope to be able to update this site again very soon,
bye for now.

Still Waiting....
This baby is just too comfortable where it is. Last night I took Georgina to the hospital for a procedure where they used what is called a "foley balloon".
We were there for about an hour after this procedure before we were sent home, with instructions to call the next morning (today) to plan our next move.
Today Georgina will be induced into labour where hopefully everything will be alright, everyone keep us in your prayers as we await the birth of our new addition to our family.

Baby's New Room
It took some time but we finally got the nursery finished and set up again. We didn't have to be in such a panic ( as it turned out) to put in a new floor because our new baby is taking it's time.
Georgina just had another visit with her doctor who told her the delivery of this baby could be another week away, which would put us past her due date by about a week.
The doctor also thinks she might have to get induced to start her labour, which is okay with Georgina because she has been hoping her mother could return from Greece in time for the delivery of our new child.
My mom is also ready to help us out (taking care of Anastasia) while we are in the hospital waiting for the big delivery ( and I do mean big), Georgina is a lot bigger ( at least in her stomach) than she was with Anastasia. Her doctor thinks this one will weigh in at 71/2 pounds, we will just have to wait and see.
